मंच पर उपस्थि‍त मंत्रिमंडल के मेरे सहयोगी डॉक्‍टर महेश शर्मा जी, श्रीमान किरण रिजुजू जी,  International Buddhist Foundation  के सेक्रेटरी जनरल डॉक्‍टर धम्‍मपिये जी, देशभर से आए सभी श्रद्धालुगण, देवियो और सज्‍जनों। हमारे यहां मंत्र शक्ति की एक मान्‍यता है कि जब एक साथ, एक ही जगह हजारों मन-मस्तिष्‍क एक ही मंत्र का जाप कर रहे हों तो ऊर्जामंडल बनता है और हम सबने यहां उस ऊर्जामंडल का एहसास किया है। आंखें खुली हैं तो हम एक-दूसरे को देख रहे हैं लेकिन मस्तिष्‍क की तंत्रिकाओं के भीतर भगवान बुद्ध के नाम का जो उच्‍चारण प्रतिपल हो रहा है वो आप में, मुझ में, हम सभी में हम महसूस कर पाते हैं। भगवान बुद्ध के प्रति जिस तरह का भाव और भक्ति हम सभी रखते हैं, शायद उसका बयां करने के लिए शब्‍द कम पड़ जाएंगे। जैसे लोग मंत्र से मुग्‍ध तो होते ही हैं, वैसे ही हम बुद्ध से भी मुग्‍ध होते हैं। मेरा सौभाग्‍य है कि आज बुद्ध पूर्णिमा के इस पावन अवसर पर मुझे आप सभी के बीच आने का, सभी का; विशेष करके सभी धर्म गुरूओं का आशीर्वाद लेने का सौभाग्‍य प्राप्‍त हुआ। अभी हमारे महेश शर्मा जी और किरण रिजुजू जी बता रह
